This website is operated by Ariel Martins. For any question concerning the processing of your personal data, or to exercise the rights described below, write to ariel@arielmartins.com.
The contact form collects your name, your e-mail address, your message and, optionally, your company. This data is used exclusively to assess and answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract — and, where no contractual relationship is contemplated, Article 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries addressed to me. Providing the data is voluntary; without it, however, I cannot reply.
No analytics or advertising cookie is placed before you consent. On your first visit a banner lets you accept or refuse; refusing takes a single click and carries no disadvantage.
If you consent, Google Analytics 4 is loaded to measure how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate origin of the visit, type of device. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time through the link at the foot of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
The record of your own choice is stored in your browser and contains no tracking identifier.
The hosting provider records, for each request, the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser identification. These records serve the security and stability of the service and are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which also stores submissions sent through the contact form. E-mail is provided by Zoho Corporation. With your consent, measurement data is processed by Google Ireland Limited.
As I am established in Brazil, the data you send me is processed there. Transfers outside the European Economic Area for the purpose of answering your enquiry rely on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR — a transfer necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request — and, in the case of the providers named above, on the contractual safeguards each of them offers.
Messages received through the form are kept for as long as the enquiry requires and, thereafter, for the period necessary to evidence the exchange — as a rule, no longer than five years. Measurement data is retained for fourteen months. You may request earlier erasure at any time.
You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your data is being processed and to access it, to have it rectified or erased, to obtain the restriction of processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Requests are addressed to ariel@arielmartins.com and answered within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
This notice may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. The date of the current version appears at the top of this page.
